Here is a super fun and easy card we made at my March creative card making class (and hostess stampers club). I really like this card. It's simple but yet very elegant looking. My 7 year old liked it so much, she asked if she could make one as well. Since I had a few supplies left over, I said sure why not. She said she had someone really special in mind that she wanted to give it to. Ok I'll admit I thought it was going to me since EVERYTHING she makes, she gives to me... NOPE! she made the card for her 2nd grade teacher instead. Ok if it couldn't go to me, what better person for it to go to right. Her teacher is more than deserving of it. My daughter REALLY enjoys school and REALLY enjoys her teacher. Being a Mom you know what a GREAT feeling it is when you know your children are out of your home and in someone Else's care and are in a secure environment! My oldest daughter has ALWAYS been on the quiet shy side, so this his huge for her and ME!
For this card I used the new Stampin' Up! Fun Flowers Bigz L Die from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I had lots of fun with this die and can see so many future uses for it.
All Supplies Stampin' Up!:
Card stock: very vanilla, and soft suede. Ink: Soft suede. Stamps: Live, laugh, love. Accessories: Big Shot, fun flowers bigz die, framed tulips embossing folder, scallop trim border punch, newsprint dsp, black brad, dimensionals and sponges.
I hope you've enjoyed today's card! Thanks for stopping by!
Ok so I thought I would share the card my daughter made and a few of the pictures of her making the card. Notice how much her card looks like mine. She CASED ME, lol...
Here is her sponging...the girl can sponge....
And VIOLA! the finished product!
I just may have to recruit her! ;)

Ahh that is just too cute and both of you made beautiful cards :-)

Your daughter is very talented. It's fun when you have a daughter that shares your interest. My younger daughter (13) is a stamper and I love that we have that in common.

Love the sponging on the card. I do think you are going to have to recruit your daughter. She did an excellent job.

WOW Your daughter is good! She did an excellent job on that card. Is she the model for the Sale-a-bration catalog cover? Sure looks like it!
